Financial Efficiency Defined
Warren Buffet has long been considered one of the genius investors of our time, and will long be considered such even after our time. Today Buffet and his investments holdings firm Berkshire Hathaway only furthered that status with a deal to sell Gillette to Proctor & Gamble netting Buffet a cool $645 million (story).
With all of the intelligence in the world, why aren’t there more wildly successful investors? This man is known as far and away the best, but how can he be that much better than everyone else?
Looking at his investment history, he rarely takes uncalculated risks, he rarely uses hostile tactics, and he rarely loses. I guess someone has to be the best.
Anyone want to spot me $90k to get a share of that?

The Cluetrain Manifesto
The Cluetrain Manifesto - The End of Business as Usual by Rick Levine, Christopher Locke, Doc Searls, and David Weinberger. “Who the hell are they,” you ask. I don’t know. According to the 10 lines of “About the Authors” text on the back cover they are a Sun Microsystems code monkey, a couple internet hippies and a writer or two.
That’s not important though, and that is part of the message the book is sending in the first place. It’s basically a marketing book about how companies should either wake up and smell the coffee or say their final good byes to their customers, their market share, their ROI, and their existence.

Ta Da
Quit tearing off scraps of paper and jamming them in your back pocket only to be forgotten about all day. Put your to-do lists on the web like any self respecting citizen of the 21st century would do. And do it at TaDaList.com.
This is an awesome service by 37signals. So simple to use it will make your brain do cartwheels. Although if you want to get anything on your to-do list done you should keep the brain cartwheels to a minimum.

Separate but Efficient
Big news on MahiX2.com today!
As previously mentioned, there will be no major redesign at this time. What there will be, is a separated site. Also as previously mentioned, this site will focus on my new title of Critic of Inefficiency. However, I know most of my current readers probably aren’t all about this change. That is why I have activated the Crew Blog and re-opened the Politics Blog.
The Politics Blog is in search of a semi-creative name and will probably not receive a whole lot of attention other than when I really want to rant about something political.
The Crew Blog however, I forsee becoming the most regularly visited portion of the site. Those who previously requested granting priveleges should have received an e-mail with instructions on how to post.
If you did not receive said e-mail and are interested in posting priveleges, let me know!
Quixotic
Quix-ot-ic - adj.
Idealistic without regard to practicality.
Keep this new vocabulary word in your mind while reading this.
