Happy New Years, and welcome to 2005. Below are some of my resolutions for this year. Here’s to accomplishing them all and much more.
- Try harder in school, and achieve a semester gpa of 4.0 or better.
- Be more aware of my diet and strive to eat healthy.
- Excercise more. Lose the 10lbs I have gained in the last three months.
- Be more prudent with my finances. Save for paying off student loans, getting a car, becoming 100% financially independent.
- Be known by my peers for being reliable.

The Beast went into the shop today. Well, sort of. After almost three months of dust collecting in fron of my house I decided to bite the bullet and give the tow company a call.

Wasting time while I should have been studying for my quickly approaching insurance licensing exam, I came across the Google Zeitgeist.
According to Dictionary.com:
Zeit-geist
n.
The taste, outlook, and spirit characteristic of a period or generation.
German : Zeit, time + Geist, spirit;
At first glance I wanted to give this report quite a bit of credibility on “the spirit of the time,” but after thought, I realized that these searches aren’t necessarily a sign of what is most significant. It could be that these terms are the hardest to find or the most misunderstood. Or, being that the most common search for the last five years been a female pop celebrity one might infer that 12 year old girls are running the internet (read: dirty porn seeking men).
In other Google news:
- The Google Blog is usually informative, often funny, and never overly commercial(a good thing).
- I have 6 more GMail invites available if anyone is interested.
