Comment Spam
MahiX2.com lost its virginity today. At about noon Az time today it was hit with its first instance of comment spam. I have read before that you only truly know that your site has become established when it receives comment spam. None the less, I was niether happy nor amused.
See, the thing that really irked me though, is that it isn’t even good comment spam. Nothing about this instance of comment spam makes any sense! For one, the bot running on IP 66.119.33.154 failed in its attempt to create a list of links because of an obvious bug in the html engine it is running. Secondly, the comment was made on a post from back in April 25!… wtf??? Then as if to just slap me directly in the face, none of the links even work!! (try for yourself - www.online-gambling-123.com)
Eh, life goes on I suppose. Feel free to add the installation of MT Blacklist to the site plans.
Snoogans.
I’m 21… and Still Alive
This one is officially filed under “Good/Bad/Ugly.”
My 21st birthday was a blast! At least what I remember of it was. Thanks to everyone who came out and made it a great time. I hope to see each of you who are still under the ripe age on that lucky night of yours just the way you saw me.
Here are the pictures… some are not exactly for the faint of heart so beware. Furthermore, keep in mind the amount of alcohol consumed prior to the majority of these pictures (21 shots).
Just so everyone knows, Carter’s 21st is Thursday night (Friday morning) and he will be celebrating accordingly.

A Matter of Hours
The countdown to the culmination of my life as an underager has fallen to under 12 hours.
I’d love to see everyone tonight at TGI Friday’s near Fiesta Mall at 11:30ish.
Those under 21 will be allowed in, so you better come!

In Case You Were Thinking…
Just in case anyone thought they would be “that guy” to let me know that the Yank’s lost last night becoming the first team to ever lose a seven game series after going up 3-0, I thought I would share a few stats with you.
The Yankees were the first to do a few other things such as win 10 World Series Titles… by the way they were also the first AND ONLY team to win their 11th through 26th World Series Title. (FYI, the Cardinals are the next closest with 9… pesky Cardinals, the Yanks just can’t seem to shake em I guess. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that the Cardinals have been in existence for 19 years more than the Yanks)
The Yankees hold a 25% share of all the seats in the Hall of Fame. Let me break that down for everyone: 30MLB teams; NY Yankees 25%, rest divided equally (for sake of ease) 2.5%.
Yankee pitchers have thrown 3 perfect games (including Don Larsen in the ‘56 WS) plus 8 no hitters.
Yankees have hit for the cycle 14 times.
Yankees hold 7 of the 14 all time records kept by mlb.com.
If these are not enough to shut you up, try to remember that Jeter, ARod, Sheffield, Matsui, and Williams will ALL be back next season. Oh and for you Red Sox fans, guess who Pedro’s agent is meeting with on Monday November 1 (coincidentally the day after the potential WS game 7)… George Stienbrenner. Pedro has already said his daddy is the Yankees, soon he will be getting his allowance from them too.

Politics Nerdery
Alright, I gotta admit that 3 months ago I never would have guessed that I would have gotten so caught up in all the political mumbo jumbo going on right now. I guess I just can’t help it. CNN.com is providing such interesting information such as a graph of Az’s household income:

and the total amount of money spent by each candidate (poor Ralph)

I highly recommend everyone else interested in digging around in the cool charts, graphs, and trackers check out the CNN Election Home Page as well as the MSNBC Election Scorecard.
